YogaFitness allows people to journey deep into their yoga practice with awareness and ease. The classes combine gentle warm-up Iyengar yoga sequences, with options you can practice according to your experience, Yoga props are often used to go deeper, to create ease and relaxation. Each posture focuses on core strength, stability and correct alignment. Each class finishes with guided Yoga Nidra (cool down and deep relaxation) to help seal the effects of
each practice session, teaching you breathing techniques on how to calm and relax to bring your body, mind
and spirit together.
All levels are well catered for, from those completely new to yoga to those looking to renew an existing practice to more experienced practitioners wanting to go deeper. People are challenged according to their experience with plenty of individual attention and personal adjustments.

Private Yoga Lessons
YogaFitness has a beautiful, serene private Studio located in Elanora Heights, perfect for you to practice privately, one-on-one or in a small group. It is fully equipped with balance bars, ropes and props. $80 for 1 hour (discount packages available).
Elanora Community Centre every Wednesday at 6.30pm $150 (10 classes) Casuals welcome $20/class. Seniors Concession available.
Pre/post natal Yoga
Individual or small groups sessions. You will build a strong foundation of security, develop clear awareness and inner balance. Discover how you can take care of your body, mind and emotions, and prepare yourself for a natural birth as possible, and know how you can bounce back quicker into shape after birth.

About your Practitioner
Patricia began practicing Yoga in the late 1980's in Malaysia. She fell right into the discipline and felt vital, strong and at peace with a sense of balance and harmony in her daily life.
Patricia continued her yogic studies in England then Africa where she learned meditation and finally discovered Iyengar Yoga in Chile, South America. Patricia studied with renowned Senior Iyengar Yoga Teachers for many years. At the turn of the century she fell deeply in love with the teachings of Satyananda Yoga and is to this day a loyal Satyananda follower. Every year she travels for further teachings, nurturing her thirst for knowledge in both traditions.
As well as her trip in 2009 to Bangalore, India, Patricia recently returned from India..."My last trip to India was amazing. I spent a whole month immersed in the true yogic lifestyle and I must say I feel satisfied that I managed to accomplish It. I attended two very important programs which really enlightened and enriched my yoga knowledge. Living in a yogic style amongst yogis is an effective way to understand the philosophy which makes yoga so popular around the world. Yoga is such an easy way to find the harmony, the balance, the strength and stability that everyone in this day and age is looking for. I came back recharged and ready to share all of my accomplishments with you."
Patricia is a devoted yoga practitioner with a great passion for sharing her knowledge and experience. Patricia regularly attends classes at Satyananda Yoga Ashram in Mangrove Mountain and most recently furthered her studies in massage. This year Patricia has decided to revisit studies in massage therapy and technique by attending a 3 month refresher course at Nature Care College. "I love being armed with fresh, up-to-date knowledge, what I love most is the therapeutic effect the massage produces in the musculoskeletal, circulatory-lymphatic,nervous system, and in general all the other systems of the body get a good workout. With a regular massage you can achieve an overall healthy body together with a great sense of wellbeing by harmonising body-mind-spirit?"
