Welcome to Yoga for You

I graduated as a Naturopath (Dip.app. Sci.) in 1990, as a Yoga teacher in 2002 and as a counsellor (Dip. of Social Sciences - Counselling) in 2012. I am currently doing my Masters in Counselling.
I have been practicing yoga since 1990 and teaching it since 2002. I have a holistic and individualised approach in my classes and focus on the therapeutic application of Yoga. Yoga (encompassing postures, breathing exercises, and meditation) is a fantastic tool for maintaining and aquiring good health and wellbeing. Practicing it gives us the opportunity to take responsibility for our own health and the power to care for and heal ourselves. Yoga is beneficial for most back and other muscular skeletal problems as well as illnesses like chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, migraines, asthma, allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, high bloodpressure to name a few and any complaint where stress is a contributing or aggravating factor. It has a stabilising and harmonizing effect on the mind and emotions and can therefore be of great benefit for conditions like anxiety and depression.


Private classes - are one on one classes held at the student's home or mine. They are designed for the individual student's personal requirements and are therefore particularly suited to students who have specific physical or mental emotional issues that they want to adress in more depth, than is possible in a group class.

Yoga consultations - are for students who would like to have a personal yoga practice that they can do by themselves independently of or in addition to a class. Practicing a personally tailored yoga routine daily or several times a week enables students to work more seriously on improving their health and wellbeing and helps them to become mentally focused and emotionally balanced in their every day life.
During the consultation the student and I establish what the student's physical and emotional issues and requirements are. A practice is developed of which the student receives a written copy so he/she feels confident to practice it by him/her self. This practice will be overseen and changed if necessary according to the student's progress or varying needs during follow up consultations. Lifestyle and dietary advice may also be given if appropiate.

Private consultation - 1st consult $ 100,- incl. short followup session
1-2 weeks later
- from then on consults are $80
