Menstrual Difficulties


Menstrual difficulties can result from things such as changes in birth control methods, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause, hormonal problems, and fibroids. They are characterized by such things as irregular periods, irritability and pain in the abdominal region. Treatments for menstrual difficulties may involve hormonal treatments such as the birth control pill, hydrotherapy, massage, acupressure, acupuncture, homeopathy, Ayurveda, herbal medicine and reflexology.
