Ulcerative Colitis
Ulcerative Colitis is a chronic inflammation of the colon and rectum which produces ulcers in the lining. Symptoms of ulcerative colitis include abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, anemia, fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite, and rectal bleeding. Treatment options include drug therapy, surgery, acupuncture, acupressure, Alexander technique, Feldenkrais, relaxation techniques, biofeedback, hypnotherapy, and sound/music therapy.
