About Roida Deirdre McLeod
Roida is a trainer in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), a Psychotherapist and Spiritual Life Coach. She grew up on a game reserve in East Africa and finished her schooling in England at The Convent of The Sacred Heart. Hove. and at Milham Ford in Oxford. She started out as a Registered Nurse, training at The Radcliffe Infirmary. Oxford. She moved into the complementary field after the birth of her first child whilst continuing to work as a nurse for BUPA and locally as a district nurse. She has many skills to bring to her practice having studied Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Structural Zero Balancing and Advanced Massage Techniques. She is also a teacher of the Radiance Technique, Authentic Reiki.
Roida spent many years studying Meditation and comparative religions and was often invited to speak on the subject. Roida trained in Ocean Therapy under Sergi Ayno in Barcelona and in England. She received her Diploma from the Universita Popular del Mediterraneo, which included Bioenergetics, Shell healing, Working with Auras, Water Massage, Interspecies communication and Healing. Roida is a member of Huna Ohana ( Huna Research (Max Freedom Long). She works with Hawaiian Huna Prayer and Healing. She is also a long term practitioner of Aura-Soma. She continues to do research into The Healing Power of Shells.
Whilst her children were growing up Roida was working with children with special needs for six years and was on the steering committee for various projects at Westdene County Primary School. Sussex. Where she acted as co-Chair Person of the local Parent Teacher Association. She was also involved in various community projects and charities. As a result of this work she gravitated towards the 'Talking' Therapies and trained in Counselling, Person Centered Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Approach to Drug and Alcohol Abuse. Studying Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Psychosynthesis, Past life work, Counselling Children and Families. After some years she Trained in NLP Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching. She is now an NLP Trainer.
From this eclectic range of interests she has created a unique blend of practices to complement the mind body spirit needs of her clients, to bring about the highest and best for each individual. Roida has a deep love for her work and it shows in her dedication to her clients. She is Highly motivated to selling people back to themselves. Roida is an international motivational speaker. She has worked in England, America, Europe and Australia. At present she is residing in the Blue mountains of New South Wales in Australia, while she completes further research into working with the Higher Self.
Roida is now working out of Syndey at Rozelle and also in the Blue Mountains.
