The Australian Council for Homoeopathy was established in 1990 by practitioners that believe that the best outcome for patients is obtained when the practitioner has a high level of bio-science and clinical knowledge and where the practitioner works within an integrated health support team.

To achieve these high standards the Australian Council for Homoeopathy has set as its base standard for bio-science and clinical knowledge a similar standard that is required for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Relative to homoeopathy it is essential that the practitioner has the skills to integrate the use of the bio-science and clinical knowledge into their practice.

It is also recognised that many patients make use of a range of various health practitioners, and the homoeopathic practitioner should be able to take this into account and collaborate with the other practitioners to bring about the best possible health outcome for the patient.

The Australian Council for Homoeopathy welcomes homoeopathic practitioners who share our vision for homoeopathy as an integral part of the accepted Australian health practice.
