Focus areas
Osteopathy is a method of manual healthcare which recognises the crucial connection between the structure of the body and the way that it functions. Osteopaths concentrate on how the skeleton, muscles, joints, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. Utilising skilled evaluation techniques, diagnosis, and a variety of hands-on methods, osteopaths may identify important types of dysfunction and imbalances in your body. Osteopathic treatment utilises a variety of treatment modalities and can include direct and indirect soft tissue, deep tissue inhibition, myofascial methods, manual stretching, massage, respiratory based methods, specific joint mobilisation and manipulation, craniosacral, counterstrain, and commonly includes some take-home advice and tools.
