Focus areas
What is an Allergy?
Allergies occur when your immune system reacts to substances in the environment that are usually harmless to most people. Those substances are called allergens and the reaction can vary from being quite mild to life threatening (anaphylaxis).
When your body is exposed to a certain allergen, the antibody response system is triggered. Antibodies attach to specialised cells that are called mast cells. Those mast cells in turn release several substances including histamine. Histamine will cause inflammation and swelling and can cause a great deal of pain and discomfort.
How does Kinesiology act as allergy testing?
The Kinesiologist utilises a non-invasive method to investigate and perform allergy testing. They will utilise a glass vial that containing the energy vibration of the substance. The vial of the specific substance is placed on the clients, then the Kinesiologist will test several muscles to see the reaction of the body to the substance.
Once the allergy has been uncovered the Kinesiologist will conduct a series of simple tapping methods to turn off the allergic reaction. The whole allergy testing process is risk free, simple and painless.
