What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word that translates to Universal Life Force Energy. Rei denotes spirit, aura or subtle energy while Ki represents life force energy or power. Reiki is a centuries-old healing method that may be experienced through both hands-on and remote healing.

During a Reiki session, energy is sent from the practitioner to the client in order to boost and support the latter's body's inherent ability to heal itself. Reiki is not a religious practice but a therapeutic system that enables the practitioner to channel loving, healing energy from the source into the lives of other living creatures.

The 3 Levels of Reiki Training

Reiki Level 1

Reiki 1 teaches you how to channel Reiki energy through your hands. Training takes place over the course of one day. It's a delightful and peaceful day that can trigger significant physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing for many. After receiving Reiki 1, you may now offer Reiki to plants, animals, yourself, the land, and friends and family. This qualification does not allow you to charge a fee for providing Reiki to the general public.

Reiki Level 2

This course is taught over the course of one day, during which you will get one attunement to activate the three Reiki 2 symbols, which are utilised for enhancing the strength of your Reiki, delivering remote healings, and completing mental and emotional purification processes.

You will also learn about Reiki space clearing methods. After completing Reiki 2, you will be able to charge a professional fee for for the Reiki sessions you conduct. It's important that you obtain professional indemnity insurance and become a member of the relevant professional organisations for your modality.

Reiki Level – Master

This is a two-day course that takes place on two consecutive Sundays. During this time, you will be given a Usui Masters attunement, which will connect you to the energies and allow you to teach Reiki. You will be shown how to attune pupils to Reiki's loving energy so that you can emerge as a Reiki teacher in your own way and continue on the Reiki legacy.

All course fees include comprehensive manuals, a Certificate of Attendance, daily morning tea, and resources to help you with your Reiki training.
