MAPS for Bipolar Disorder is a unique 12 week program which enables participants to better manage their Bipolar Disorder and live life to the fullest. The program aims to assist people:

Understand how stress impacts on health and well-being
Be able to identify and choose the most appropriate coping strategies to deal with stress and maintain health
Learn to recognise signs of becoming unwell and form partnerships with others who can help to maintain optimal health

Why Come & See Catherine?

Catherine was involved in the initial evaluation of this program at the Mental Health Research Institute. The program was shown to be effective in reducing relapses of mania and depression for people with Bipolar Disorder, as well as improving people's ability to do the things that are important to them in everyday life.

Catherine is the only private practitioner in Australia currently qualified to provide this program to clients through individual sessions.
