Counselling for aged care support

Gaye has had many clients in the last five years who have expressed deep concern for their loved ones in nursing homes or aged care facilities. Simply because you are now in aged care or a nursing home does not mean you have lost your voice or are isolated from the outside world.

Gaye can help with your emotional needs, fears, stresses, and more if you are about to enter care and feel you have lost your voice.

Nobody stays young forever. We will all grow old and weak, but we will never be alone. If you are currently in care and feel isolated, as if the world has abandoned you, Gaye can fill that void and be a support person for you.

One phone call per week may be all that is needed to release unhealthy thoughts and emotions that have built up inside.

Counselling and support for the LGBTQI community

Gaye's primary concern as a practising counsellor is ensuring that everyone is inclusive, including the LGBTQI+ community.

Considering herself an "ally" to the community, she has worked with many clients who categorise themselves as gay, queer, lesbian, bisexual, trans, or who are questioning their sexuality.

If you're one of them, know that you're not alone on your journey to self-acceptance.

Gaye will listen and support you when you need it the most. Whatever your sexual orientation, we all deserve a voice that listens without judgement or prejudice.

She has completed purpose training to work with the LGBTQI+ community and is an ACON-endorsed counsellor.
