Eco Clinics - Dr Adrian Adams - Chiropractor
Dr Adrian Adams
Since graduating from his Master of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University, Adrian has been fortunate enough to practice all over the world. After leaving Australia, Adrian spent six months as a locum chiropractor in Ireland before sitting the board exams to gain professional registration by the General Chiropractic Council (United Kingdom) so he could practice and further his chiropractic training in the UK.
Adrian then spent several years practicing in two successful London based chiropractic clinics. One clinic was a family chiropractic centre with a strong focus on chiropractic paediatrics – treating children and pregnant mothers. The second clinic was a chiropractic sports clinic in the middle of the London financial district. Here the clinic focus was on chiropractic sports medicine and corporate health – treating professional and amateur athletes at all levels, along with occupational related conditions that come with continuous office work and incorrect ergonomics.
After leaving London, Adrian travelled and worked as a volunteer in South America and the Golden Triangle (Northern Thailand) for a year before heading back to Northern Ireland to help establish and run a successful chiropractic practice in Belfast.
Having spent enough time in the cold, Adrian sat the chiropractic board exams in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and had a small stint practicing in Dubai before making his way back home to work as a locum chiropractor all over Australia. He then set up private practice in his hometown, the Gold Coast. It is here that Adrian founded his dream chiropractic and wellness centre, Eco Clinics.
Along with chiropractic sports medicine and physical therapies, Adrian also has a very strong interest in nutrition and trying to attain an optimal state of health and wellbeing through evidenced-based pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplementation. He is currently an active board member for Arcadian Nutraceuticals and is an advisor on their product research and development.
Adrian specialises in pain relief, back pain, neck pain, headaches, neurological based conditions and sports injury.
All of his chiropractic treatmens are extremely safe, gentle and varied between each patient depending on their condition, age and what they feel happy and comfortable with.

Myotherapists assess and treat the connective tissue (muscle, tendons, ligaments, joint capsules, tissue coverings) using mostly direct ‘hands-on’ techniques and are also trained in the use of TENS machines, cold lasers, ultrasound, rehabilitation aids, taping, dry needling and exercise prescription for rehabilitation.
Key benefits of Remedial Massage include: the stimulation to the blood supply allowing toxins in the muscles to be removed; the calming of the peripheral nervous system to ease pain and discomfort; and the toning and relaxing of muscles to improve joint mobility. An improvement to the health of the cells, the repairing of tissues, and the easing of stiffness and tension can also be experienced through therapeutic relaxation.
Cosmetic medicine is an inclusive term for specialties that focus on improving cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins.
