A combination of techniques including deep tissue, trigger point release, myofascial release and lengthening and stretching are used together with swedish massage techniques to target problem areas and muscular imbalances. The techniques used compliment the bodies natural healing processes, aiding a faster recovery and also more flexible scar tissue and muscular balance. This results in less pain and restriction in movement and more energy to get on with life. The treatment is tailored to the needs of the client and can be effective as a one off treatment or often more effective as a part of a treatment plan with a longer term goal of recovery or maintenance.
A natural oil base is used and a choice of aromatherapy blends is also available.
The massage follows a strict draping protocol and all equipment including towels and oils are supplied.
The treatments target specific areas although more than one area can be treated depending on the length of the massage.
