What is Animal Naturopathy?

Animal naturopathy is a holistic approach to treating animals. It involves looking at the cause of disease rather than just managing the symptoms. Naturopathy aims to encourage the animal's innate healing abilities to promote health, rather than suppressing symptoms with medications. Therapies are non-invasive and may include dietary changes, nutritional support, herbs, homeopathy, flower essences, massage and other modalities.

About Julie, our Naturopath

After qualifying as a naturopath in 1991, Julie worked with human clients for five years and then moved into full-time work as an animal naturopath at her clinic on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Julie also works online via the Greenpet website.
