About Karen
Karen has many years experience as a qualified remedial massage therapist accredited with The Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and has more than 20 years experience in the Natural Health Industry.
Starting in the wellness industry in 1990 as a chiropractors assistant, she became inquisitive in the human body and aware of its amazing functions and ability to heal.
Karen decided to learn more and enrolled at Endeavour college of Natural Therapies receiving her diploma in remedial massage and certificate in sports massage. This led her to become an assistant to Sandra Grace, principal of Endeavour College and a Chiropractor.
Whilst studying Karen also gained further knowledge and hands on experience working with a reputable osteopath.
During her years as a massage therapist Karen has undertaken further studies to enhance her massage techniques including Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage, Cupping Therapy, is a certified Shell Essence Practitioner and was honoured to become a Reiki Master.
Karen has been running her own successful massage business since 2001 as well as teaching remedial massage and lecturing with registered training organizations having gained her Certificate in Training Assessment.
Now sharing her knowledge with other therapists Karen conducts her specialized workshops to assist those on their journey in the massage industry.
