Welcome to Lodgical Fitness and Wellbeing

My name is Louise Lodge and I am a Townsville based Personal Trainer and all things health, wellness & fitness.

With my 18 years experience in the fitness industry. I have worked as a weight loss counsellor, group fitness instructor and personal trainer. I LOVE helping people achieving and realising their goals. I started out in the Fitness and Weight loss industry just after my 2nd son was born back in 1997. I found myself overweight, depressed and needing to change my life and my direction. At my heaviest I weighed 108kilos and do not ever want to go back there, but it's not easy, it is hard to lose weight and change your life, but it can be even harder staying there.

After losing 40 kilos, I was running Easyslim classes in Darwin, 3 per week, these sessions provided members with meal plans, education on food, recipes and an exercise session. After my 3rd child was born I was on the lookout for more challenges, enter the gym, I trained as a Group Fitness Instructor teaching freestyle classes then trained in Les Mills BODYSTEP, BODYPUMP and BODYBALANCE of which I still teach to today and love them more and more each time I teach. I have also completed training in Pilates, Fitball, Outdoor group sessions, boxing level 1, Certificate in Nutrition, Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 and Thai Yoga Massage. I have my Certificate III & IV in Fitness.

I believe I can give you the tools to change, whether it be finding fitness, losing weight, gaining strength, flexibility or discovering wellness.

I have developed a unique approach to training that can fit in with your lifestyle, with your family, friends and work. I also love cooking, a trap I know, but my recipes are rearranged based on healthy, nourishing foods to make you feel good and power on through your day.

Combing these elements puts us on the path to success, whatever your path may be. I have also studied wellness coaching and Emmett Therapy, I am able to offer my clients, release of tightness of muscles and realignment of body for balance through easy muscle management therapy.
