Rob taught Pilates in the UK for a number of years, honing his skills, diagnosing and treating injuries. He created focused rehabilitation programs to get his clients back on track with their health and fitness goals. His time spent working alongside physiotherapists in a Pilates setting and with Medical staff at the Brentford Championship League’s Strength and Conditioning program has given him a vast array of experience to draw upon when teaching Pilates.

Ash attended ballet class from the age of five and continued her dance training for another 16 years, completing her Honours in Dance in 2009. She worked as a dancer, choreographer and teacher throughout Australia before moving to London in 2013. During her 6 years working as a professional independent artist, Ash performed or made work for many festivals and organisations, some including Strutdance (Aus), Perth Fringe (Aus), Process Space Arts Festival (Bulgaria), Turn Platform (UK) and Resolutions (UK).

As an elite basketballer Gabby has always had a passion for fitness and movement. Her interest in Pilates began after having a full knee reconstruction in 2013.

Pilates was an essential aspect to her recovery and her personal experience of rehabilitation is the foundation on which she built her skills as a teacher. Her aim is to share the knowledge, enjoyment and confident movement that she personally gained through Pilates with everyone she teaches.

Nikki hails from a background in Graphic design… so why the switch to Pilates? The nature of the creative mind is that it’s always exploring and seeking out new ways of being. Nikki’s love of creativity, body awareness, health and well being led her into the world of Pilates and her subsequent training as a Level 2 Pilates Instructor.

Tessa qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 from Kings College London and discovered Pilates while working as a physio in Cape Town in 2000. Tessa brings her many years of clinical experience and knowledge and integrates this into her Pilates practice. She loves educating people about their bodies and believes in creating balance in people's lives from the exercise they do to the food they eat.

KATE LISTER

The Pilates Method is such a wonderful method of movement and over the 12 years of teaching experience I have had, I continue to learn more and more about what bodies are capable of through my interest in learning about the brain and its influence in mindful movement. I have a special interest in Neuro-muscular conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke. I know how important movement is to nourish the body & mind, so as the client can live a healthy, happy & full life. My Interest in the brain, body and behaviours has lead me into further studies of a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences.

Fiona graduated Physiotherapy in 1999 and spent the first few years working in Acute Hospitals in Melbourne. She then travelled to Ireland and worked in Public and Private Rehab settings across Dublin over the next 18 months. On return back to Australia she worked at Caulfield Hospital for 8 years in the area of Community Rehabilitation. She was a Team Leader and Senior Clinician for the Centre Based Team and gained valuable experience in orthopaedic, neurological and falls and balance rehabilitation.
