Rebecca Richards Kinesiology
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a form of Natural Therapy and means the study of movement. Kinesiology is like a language and communicates directly with our body through muscle monitoring and testing techniques that are both non evasive and gentle. A Kinesiology practitioner is able to work with the client’s issues and symptoms to find the underlying casual problem. Once this has been established through muscle testing it is then time to find the appropriate remedy to facilitate the body’s innate ability to heal itself. The remedy can range from an attitude change, stress release, nutritional support, aromatherapy, flower essence, specific massage or a combination of things and is completely unique to each client.
Hi, my name is Rebecca. I have been working professionally as a Kinesiologist within the Natural Therapy industry for 17 years. Kinesiology made its first impressions upon me over 22 years ago, when I fell sick to bladder cancer at the age of 18. Thanks to the combination of both Eastern and Western medicine for my initial recovery, and for my complete recovery today, Kinesiology has been the key factor. I have also been trained in Reiki, flower essence therapy, emotional trauma release, herbal medicine, aromatherapy and have a Cert IV in small business management. My studies are always ongoing as I love to bring everything I can to each and every client.
My love of Kinesiology stems from its ability to allow the client to have a new window of understanding on their current health issue. With this new perspective and the appropriate remedy, the body is then able to come into a state of balance and health.
I conduct my Kinesiology consultations from my home in beautiful Greendale. Workshops and classes are also run from my home.
As over 75% of all illness today is due to stress, I see the utmost importance in maintaining health in all aspects of our lives. Kinesiology has been, and is my tool for maintaining wellbeing.
Kinesiology sessions can be either 1:1 or via phone. The most common Kinesiology session is 1:1 but there are often times the client is unable to physically make it to a Kinesiology session due to distance, illness etc. As I am a registered practitioner, you may be able to obtain a Health Fund Rebate on your Kinesiology session through your Health Insurance Provider. Only some Health Funds cover Kinesiology and it depends on the type of extras cover you have as to whether you can obtain a health refund benefit. Please contact your health insurance provider to find out if you are eligible.
I am a registered Professional Mentor with the Australian Kinesiology Association. I am qualified to mentor Kinesiology students whilst they are studying their Cert IV and Diploma as well as individuals that are requiring support within their existing Natural Therapy Clinic.
Over the year I run regular workshops, these can range from Fermenting Workshops to Elemental Workshops to Learn about the chakras Workshops to Sacred Women’s Circles.
I am looking forward to hearing from you, please feel free to get in touch.
