I almost always prescribe herbal medicine at the first consultation because I have seen how well it works in many situations.
I will always give recommendations for dietary changes. Even when someone has a healthy diet they can benefit from additional foods recommended to provide extra nutrition for their health condition.
Sometime I recommend that people exclude certain foods from their diet for a short period of time. This will depend on your health condition and the symptoms you are experiencing.
