Our approach sees Meditation as the practice of consciously slowing down your thinking and breathing and taking some time to look within. Meditation causes an increase in awareness of thoughts and observation of breathing. Meditation takes us within to our true essence and helps in the exploration and discovery of purpose.
The uses and benefits of a regular meditation practice are endless.
Regular meditation helps us to live in the present moment and make conscious choices rather than living focusing with regret on the past or with anxiety worry or concern about the future.
Learning to deepen and lengthen the breath and to look within helps us to make state and trait changes.
Maria is a qualified Meditation teacher and runs classes through Western Wellness in Point Cook from the yoga studio on Wallace Avenue.
