About Reiki

Tibetan Usui Reiki is most commonly recognised and known as a form of spiritual healing that utilises energy. There is universal energy or cosmic energy that surrounds us and exists within us. This energy is often known as healing or love energy. Love is the only way to heal.

Reiki is from the Heart Chakra or Centre, and our hands are an extension of our hearts. The energy develops from the Heart Centre to the hands, through which this healing energy emanates.

Tibetan approach

Tibetan Usui Reiki is practiced with the client lying fully clothed on a massage table. Before you even arrive for your Reiki treatment, the practitioner will recite several Tibetan mantras, prayers and rituals to prepare the incoming mindfulness.

The practitioner will then begin to discuss the upcoming healing process with you, along with any other questions or requirements you may have. The practice of Tibetan Usui Reiki treatment is based around the healing for you, through the practitioners hands, who will lay or hold their hands above the body, first on the front and then on the back.
