When I was first introduced to yoga many years ago I thought I was going to die. I was an aerobics nut, a gym junkie and loved my walking. However years of doing all of that incorrectly led to swollen knees, sore joints and exercise eventually stopped working for me. I worked with Personal Trainers who had no idea of how to deal with a middle aged adrenally fatigued woman and wondered why I wasn’t losing weight or changing my body shape!

I persevered with yoga and noticed an amazing and quick effect.

My body was not only healing, so was my mind.

Yoga has been proven to help anxiety, fatigue, blood pressure, heart issues, digestion problems, flexibility and balance. Everything the adrenals require to start working more efficiently. I was impressed I became an instructor and I now take sheer delight in watching my fellow practitioners tell me about how much better they’re feeling.

My Yoga Classes for you:
  • FREE YOGA CLASS:

    Every Saturday at 4pm on the lawn at Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens at Toowong until 5pm, we go through an all levels Hatha Yoga Class. Just look up from the carpark to the right on the lawn in front of the library you’ll see people with yoga mats arriving. It’s outdoors so bring your own mat, water and something warm in the winter months. People tell me they leave totally inspired and invigorated!!! It’s not only because of the yoga class, it’s because they have a chance to ‘earth’ on the ground. It really makes a difference to exercise on a soft lawn on the earth – the energies really do work.

  • Private Yoga Classes:

    Don’t want to join a class with a lot of people at various levels? Are you not certain of how you would cope with yoga so therefore have chosen not to attend a class? Why not have me come to you or you come to me and work through a private yoga and meditation class. Better still, do you have a small group of girlfriends who’d love the same private tuition? Message me for a quote.


  • Stretch Yoga and Meditation Classes for the 40+ at Paddington. Tuesday evenings.

    If you’re over 40 and looking for a yoga and meditation class that is both gentle but gives a good workout and strengthening stretch out, followed by a relaxing meditation, this could be the class for you. It’s happening every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm at the central Hall in the Lavalla Centre, 53 Fernberg Road, Rosalie (right on the Paddington border). Street parking, just follow the YOGA signs. This class is only $15 payable at the door. Bring your own mat, cushion and something to throw over yourself while in meditation in case it’s cool. *Feel free to email on annen@tpg.com.au should you have further inquiries and to book. Classes are kept reasonably small so that everyone receives the necessary attention. All levels welcome.
