Dizziness

Dizziness is a feeling of instability and disorientation. It can be associated with or caused by a wide range of conditions or diseases. It is a symptom rather than an illness in itself, therefore the underlying condition must be treated. Dizziness is very subjective so it feels different to different people but some symptoms may include lightheadedness, feeling faint, unsteadiness, a false sense of movement, confusion, and nausea. Treatment may include bed rest, medication, balancing exercises, and the canalith positioning procedure.
