Hernia

A hernia is the protrusion of an organ or structure into the surrounding tissue. They commonly occur in the groin or umbilical regions of the body. There are many different types of hernias and they can affect anybody of any age. A hernia can only fully be repaired through surgery. Symptoms include a bulge or swelling, pain, and nausea and/or vomiting. As well as surgery, food therapy is an option.
