In May 2006 Friendlies Chemist Subiaco implemented Friendlies Weight Loss Centre for Health and Wellbeing. In the process of becoming a Weight Loss Centre, Friendlies Subiaco became selected agents for the highly successful Ultra Lite Program - The Professional Weight and Health Management System.
Hemaview Live Blood Analysis
A Hemaview Live Blood Analysis assists in highlighting health problems by using a single drop of your blood and analysing it under a microscope. The sizes, shapes and associations of your cells and how their characteristics affect your health will be explained to you as you view your live blood on the monitor. A photograph of your blood will be taken and a comparison photograph after treatment will highlight your progress. Once potential health problems have been identified a treatment plan can be put in place.

Sarah Durack B.Sc, N.D has been the co-ordinator of the Naturopathic Clinic at Friendlies Chemist Subiaco for the past four years and consulting for the last two years. Sarah completed her Bachelor Degree in Human Movement and Exercise Science and Human Biology at the University of Western Australia and then went on to complete her Advanced Diploma in Natural Therapies at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies.
Sarah is knowledgeable in many health areas but has a specific interest in women’s health, digestive complaints and fatigue and stress management, in addition to being fully qualified as an UltraLite Weight Loss practitioner. Through an individually tailored treatment programme Sarah can help you achieve your maximum state of health and well-being.
An initial consult takes one hour during which time all systems of the body are assessed. Tongue, nail and iris diagnosis are utilized to further assess the body’s functions. Your current health status and past history is reviewed and assessed and Western medical treatments and diagnosis are taken into account.
Sarah can also offer Hemaview Live Blood Analysis consultations to assess the internal status of the body. By taking a pin prick of blood various health states can be analysed. These include;

Greer Vincent ND is qualified in Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Iridology, Flower Essence Therapy, Nutrition and Hemaview Live Blood Analysis.
She is also a trained Ultra Lite Practitioner (The Professional Weight Management System) and a Jurlique consultant.
Greer has a strong passion and love of natural medicine. She focuses her practice on empowering and educating her clients to restore balance and therefore health and well being to their lives.
Combining her education and experience gained locally and overseas with a holistic and individualised approach to each and every client, Greer has great success helping people with a wide range of complaints. She specializes in the areas of digestive issues, weight loss, female health issues and skin disorders.
She also offers specialized naturopathic advice for everything pregnancy and baby related such as fertility, labour recovery and milk production to addressing issues regarding eczema , colic, frequent infections and so on.

Cara Templeman is our instore Jurlique Consultant. She is also a fully qualified Beauty Therapist and Massage Therapist. Cara loves the Jurlique range as it is chemical free and contains many herbs and essential oils which firm, tone and revitalize ageing or problem skin.
Cara conducts beautiful Jurlique facials and relaxation massages in our comprehensive treatment room. Jurlique workshops are also run on a regular basis and are a fun way to learn about the products and which ones are best suited to your skin type.

Photography
Friendlies Chemist Subiaco offers the latest 'state of the art' Fuji Digital Photo Centre (DPC). Have your digital photos printed for less than what you can do at home on superior crystal archive paper, protecting your photos from fading for at least 60 years. It is the best choice if long lasting family photos are important to you.
Your regular or digital photos can be burnt to CD and photos can be printed from your digital camera.
The latest edition to our Fuji DPC is the self service DPC kiosk. This means you can make your own improvements to your digital photos, even those taken with your mobile phone, giving them your own personal touch.
Turning your digital media in to real prints is so important - don't risk losing your digital images forever due to advances in technology or damaged digital media.
Diabetes Services
People with diabetes can now get subsidised diabetic products at Friendlies Chemist Subiaco in Rokeby Rd.
The store is accredited as part of the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS). By registering with the NDSS through the pharmacy, people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes can get their syringes, needles, blood and urine test strips, etc. at greatly reduced prices.
Blood glucose monitors are also available for sale and our trained staff can teach you how to use them.
For a small fee clients can also become a member of Diabetes Australia WA (DAWA). This membership means you can receive current information on diabetes education, research, diet and lifestyle, support groups, etc. DAWA membership also offers member prices on such items as blood glucose meters, books, special injection systems, etc.
