Why Try Corporate Yoga?

As work contributes to the main cause of stress in the majority of the population, it is important that corporations keep their employees healthy and stress free. Recently, the American Journal of Health Promotion did a study on worksite health programs and found that corporations saved around $3- $6 for every $1 invested in wellness programs. We offer Yoga classes for corporations who are keen on looking after the well being of their employees.

Some of the benefits of Yoga at work include:

1. Decreases the number of sick days taken
2. Better teamwork, reduces in-office conflict
3. Greater clarity of mind /better concentration

What does each class entail?

Each class runs for 45 minutes to an hour and includes a series of stretches/postures, breathing techniques and meditation/relaxation. The level of the class is determined by the group and their abilities. You can choose for a restful meditative class or a dynamic class to build strength and felexibility or a mixure of both.

What is the cost?

The price for each session is $150. Block bookings are available for 8, 10 or 12 classes at $120 per session.

Mats and belts can be loaned when required and are stored at the clients' premises for the duration of the block booking.

Unwind Your Mind: How Corporate Yoga Boosts Productivity & Health

In our fast-paced corporate world, it’s all too easy for stress levels to skyrocket. With demanding targets, long hours, and work spilling into personal time, our plates have never been more full. This constant pressure inevitably takes a toll on both mental and physical wellbeing. But what if you could combat all that right at the office?

A growing number of Melbourne workplaces now offer corporate yoga at work. Participants consistently report impressive benefits, from decreasing anxiety to radically improving energy.

Curious how corporate yoga can transform your team? Read on as we explore all the reasons your business should offer classes today.

Radically Boost Focus

In 2023, the ability to concentrate is more valuable than ever. We juggle endless digital disruptions, balance multiple priorities, and pressure to multitask constantly. No wonder employees feel fractured, scattered, and struggle to direct their attention.

The good news? Yoga has an incredible knack for enhancing focus. Just 20 minutes can lead to significant cognitive gains. Users report improved memory retention, longer attention spans, and an ability to concentrate intensely.

For employers, sharpening team-wide focus pays dividends via higher productivity. Workers make fewer errors, have better workload management, and increased output. Best of all, group classes allow entire teams to build this mental muscle together.

Boost Energy & Health

In addition to psychological turmoil, excessive workplace stress also cripples physical vitality. It sparks inflammatory responses linked to illness over time. Additionally, hours in front of computers lead to back pain, eyestrain, repetitive motion injuries, and weight gain.

Here too, yoga offers holistic solutions – bolstering strength, joint health, circulation and healthy weights. Classes also alleviate body aches by releasing chronically tense areas.
For managers facing engagement issues, yoga also inherently amplifies drive. Sessions spark feel-good neurochemicals, helping avoid workplace energy slumps. This is invaluable for organizations needing an uptick in team inspiration.

Alleviate Anxiety & Stress

With today’s relentless work demands also comes surging stress and anxiety levels. In Australia, the bulk of compensated workplace claims stem from excessive workplace tension. This epidemic reduces quality of life and impacts bottom lines.

Fortunately, yoga is renowned for its potent anxiety reduction effects. Amongst regulars, benefits include:

  • Decreased perceived stress
  • Lessened anxiety
  • More positive moods & outlook

For organizations struggling with pervasive worry, onsite yoga helps cultivate resilience. Classes impart research-backed techniques like tactical breathing, present-moment focus, and meditation. Weaving these into workdays empowers professionals to better control stress reactions.

Sessions teach both physical poses to ease pain alongside simple breathwork and mindfulness. This enables professionals to refuel both body and mind efficiently.
