Li Fang Wang was born in Qichun County, China. Qichun is the hometown of Li Shizhen (李时珍) who was one of the greatest physicians and pharmacologists in Chinese history. His major contribution to medicine was his forty-year work which formed his epic book the Bencao Gangmu (本草纲目 "Compendium of Materia Medica") – one of the most famous medicinal literatures in China. Growing up in wild herbal area and accompanying with a lot of stories of Li Shizhen, Li Fang knew some herbs and used herbs to treat health problems even when she was a child. With a strong interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), she enrolled in the University of TCM Hubei (Wuhan, China) in 1979 and studied of the traditional Chinese medicine for 5 years. After receiving her bachelor degree in 1984, she sequentially worked in the Li Shizhen Hospital and the Hospital in Wuhan, where she treated a large amount of patients in China. Since 1995 she moved in Australia, She has been working in different clinics both in Sydney and Brisbane. With 25 year rewarding experience, she has achieved excellent records in successfully remedying a numbers of hard-to-cure diseases with acupuncture and TCM treatments.
