About Central Sydney Osteopathy
Central Sydney Osteopathy has been serving Sydney's Inner West since we started in King Street in 1989 as Newtown Osteopathic Centre. In 2004 we moved here to Stanmore.
Our practitioners - Anne Cooper, Scott Read, Joanna Doolan, Rachel Cooper and Sam Everist, offer you experienced, safe and premium osteopathic care, using all validated osteopathic techniques. With Deb Taylor, and Tanya Majzoub, our acupuncturists and TCM practitioners and Jian Zhang, Sean Gilena and Bing Wu, our wonderful masseurs, we offer you the best in natural medicine at an affordable price. We work closely with all the local GP's and hospitals, especially Occupational Health and Maternity and Birth Centres, and are registered providers for NSW Workcover, DVA and CTP Motor Vehicle insurers.
Osteopathy is now available on Medicare for chronic and complex conditions, through the enhanced Primary Care Scheme. See your GP for a referral.
We have been highly effective in treating infertility in women with mechanical abberations which can hinder conception, so before you take the long, expensive and often heartbreaking IVF path, give us a call and we will gladly explain to you how we have been so successful in this field. We offer expectant or new mothers a free assessment and treatment with Joanna Doolan, Sam Everist or Rachel Cooper. As well, school students and teachers are offered a 20% discount during school holidays.
We are delighted to be able to offer you referrals and advice over the telephone. All private health funds will reimburse you for our care, and patients with a referral from their GP can access the Medicare ECP initiative. As an extra service to our patients, we offer HICAPS for all our practitioners and so can process your private health claim for you on the spot, saving you time, effort and money.
