Yoga After Birth - Postnatal Yoga
  • Post Natal Yoga is specially tailored to allow for recovery after birth.
  • Attending to a weekly yoga class may be the only time in the week where you get to focus on your own needs.
  • Taking time for yourself to physically recuperate and de-stress your mind is essential for your wellbeing. If you take the time to respectfully care for yourself, taking care of your child and family will be easier.
  • If you have not attended a yoga class before, postnatal yoga sessions at Erlinda Yoga will introduce you to this practice gently and progressively, honoring your needs as a new mum at all times.

Mum and Bub Yoga Program

One session per week per 5 consecutive weeks.

The program is suitable for babies from 6 weeks old until pre-crawling stage. The class is informal and lively, there is no expectation for your baby to behave in particular way.

Class description
  • This class is designed to help you re-balance your body after pregnancy, regain strength and flexibility and to deepen the existing bond you have with your baby in a safe, friendly environment. It presents you with the opportunity to meet new mums to share experiences and have some fun!
  • Yoga helps new mums stay fit, have more stamina and offers mental and emotional relief from the demands of being a new mum.
  • The sessions also include baby yoga, postures and massage techniques for your baby that improve digestive function, relieve colic and soothe the baby’s nervous system, encouraging your baby to relax and sleep better.
Special one-off classes for mothers groups are available upon request.

Self Care Yoga for Women

This is a restorative, meditative style of yoga that supports health and well being at all levels by bringing deep rest to body and mind. It is suitable for all women who are looking to rest deeply, restore energy, enhance healing, resilience, focus, creativity and more.

Highly recommended for after birth recovery, menopause, insomnia, tiredness, fertility improvement and overly active mind.

Restorative Yoga is specially recommended during pregnancy, restorative yoga is a nurturing practice that honors your changing pregnant body alleviating the tiredness and fatigue that is often present as you create the miracle of life.

Class description

Yoga for Loving Kindness is a monthly restorative yoga session on offer at Erlinda Yoga.

In a friendly safe space your experienced instructor will guide you through a series of gentle supported yoga poses. Your body will be supported by using props to make you feel absolutely comfortable, enabling you to achieve deep rest and restoration.

Designed to profoundly release the body and the mind from tension, restorative yoga engages the restorative function of the nervous system (parasympathetic). Deep rest allows you to connect with your infinite capacity for healing, resilience, focus, creativity and much more
