Chinese Medicine Supportive Cancer Care and Women's Health
Registered Chinese medicine practitioner with over 20 years clinical experience...
Suzanne uses Chinese herbs, dietary supplements and lifestyle to help cancer patients better cope with the side effects of chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments, to help cancer survivors bounce back faster and reduce risk of recurrence. Patients come for help with fatigue, pain, hot flushes, digestive issues, mouth ulcers, dry mouth, numbness in their hands and feet, sleep problems, and pretty much anything else you can think of.
Suzanne loves working with women who have fertility issues or menstrual cycles issues such as: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), heavy or painful menstrual periods, endometriosis, hot flushes... Many women are affected by these conditions and rely on painkillers, the contraceptive pill or change their lifestyle to deal with these symptoms. These conditions can usually be treated and managed with Chinese herbs and acupuncture.
Suzanne works in an integrative way using pathology, scans and other information to reach a diagnosis and plan treatment. This fusion of eastern & western medicine is suited for her practice within an integrative medical centre and a cancer hospital.
Suzanne has undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of Western Sydney. She has studied in hospitals in Nanjing and Beijing, China. Suzanne has studied naturopathic oncology with Lise Alschuler, and is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP).
