Our survival requires maintenance of a balance between many chemicals and stresses within our body. This balance is regulated by the nervous system.
The nervous system is encased in the bones of the spine – vertebrae.
There are joints between each vertebra, which allow us to bend and twist.
If movement of these joints is reduced swelling of the soft tissue (muscles and ligaments) around the joints occurs.
This swelling can put pressure on nerves, which reduces their ability to keep the balance within our body.
Your Chiropractor will assess each joint and maintain its mobility, thus minimising nerve interference.
This allows your body to maintain the balance within.

At Your First Visit

Your Chiropractor will ask you a number of questions about your problem, medical history, accidents, falls, medication, etc. You will be given a thorough examination and, if you have X-Rays they will be discussed. If your problem is Chiropractic in nature, a treatment plan will be discussed with you and treatment will be commenced.
