Remedial Massage is the systematic assessment and treatment of the tendons, muscles, connective tissues, and ligaments of the body and helps with rehabilitation from injury and pain. Structural imbalance and/or loss of correct function requires remediation to eliminate or reduce pain and to restore the correct functioning. Remedial massage is specifically designed to balance soft tissue/muscle length, tone, and tension which in turn promotes the return to normal capsular/joint/bone position, enhances the flow of lymph and blood, specifically in the injured areas removing damaged cells, blockages, adhesions, and scar tissue.
