What is Pranic Healing?
Pranic Healing uses the life energy called prana in creating health and a sense of well being in a person. It is based on the fundamental principle that the human body has the innate ability of healing itself. Generally speaking, it works by correcting and clearing pranic or energy blockages or imbalances. Energy that is depleted, congested, or diseases are removed to make room for fresh and new energy.
The modern form of Pranic Healing was developed by scientist, chemical engineer and teacher Choa Kok Sui over a 20-year period. He devised an easy-to-learn system to have immediate positive results that can contribute to a better health, quality of life and wellbeing. Pranic Healing is used to complement conventional medicine, and not replace it.
How Does Pranic Healing Work?
The prana manifests itself as a glowing field of light and colours around the body. The healing process consists of two steps. Pranic Healing provides treatment of the aura to help heal the physical body. Then, the physical body heals itself using its healthy energy system.
Pranic Healing follows two simple principles. One is that the physical body can heal itself, and the other is that adding a catalyst into the session can speed up the healing process. That catalyst is called prana. The pranic healer uses their hands to cleanse and energize the energy field of the person with fresh prana, thereby triggering the body's healing process.
During a healing session, the practitioner cleanses the client's aura first. Using broad, circular hand movements, the negative energy is processed and released. Once the aura has been cleansed, the energising process follows wherein the healer transfers new energy to the client.
Pranic healing can also be performed from a distance. Long distance healing is based on the connectedness of people with each other through the energy field of the earth. Additionally, the energy follows wherever the thoughts are directed. By practicing pranic healing techniques combined with focusing upon a loved one, healing can be triggered from afar.

What Can You Expect From Pranic Healing?
A Pranic Healing session is one-hour long and begins with a short interview between the practitioner and client. The former will ask the latter what they're seeking healing for, check their medical history and any medications that they may be taking. Gathering this crucial information will help the healer determine which healing techniques to apply.
The client doesn't need to disrobe since Pranic Healing is a no-touch modality. They may opt to sit comfortably on a chair or lie down on a massage table. Throughout the healing session, the client should keep their palms facing upward and touch the tip of their tongue to the roof of their mouth to complete the energy cycle in their body.
The healing session can be done in a face-to-face setting or from a distance via phone or through an online videoconferencing platform like Zoom. The manner in which you receive healing will not alter its benefits since Prana Healing works with energy, which cannot be restricted by time, space or distance. The length of time required to resolve the client's issue depends on its nature and severity and the frequency of treatment.
Is Pranic Healing Safe?
Pranic Healing is a safe and effective way of cleansing and harmonising the energy fields of the body. Anyone can benefit from it regardless of their age and health condition. Learning how to cleanse and balance one's prana will enable them to heal their own body, mind, emotions and even relationships.
