About the Therapies
Herbal Medicine: Is one of the oldest systems of medicine dating back before 20th century. Despite the move in the 1gth century toward the use of sophisticated drugs, 80% of the world population still depends on medicines derived from traditional plant remedies. Darryl is trained in the Thompsonian system of Herbal Medicine, which is known as Western Herbal Medicine.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis: Is an analytical test that measures the mineral composition of hair. It is regarded by naturopaths and nutritional therapists as a useful screening tool in preventative health care. It provides a reliable clinical data of over 35 nutrients and toxic materials and over 26 significant mineral ratios. From this test a program of nutrients can be devised targeting your specific needs.
Iridology: Is the science of analyzing the delicate structures of the iris of the eye which has a communication system with all parts of the body, capable of handling an amazing quantity of information. The code reveals itself in the character of the individual iris fibers which indicates the states of body systems, tissue integrity and chemical status. Information from the eye is of special importance to the treatment program.
Bowen Technique: A gentle form of body work in which subtle moves performed over the muscles and connective tissue send messages deep into the body. This retrieves cellular memory which results in relaxing, balancing, pain relief, while correcting the presenting problem. This technique not only addresses the musculoskeletal framework where its results are phenomenal, but also the facial, nerves and internal organs. The body’s integrated response improves circulation and lymphatic drainage and aids in the assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins. Mr. Morris is also trained in the Emmett Technique which is similar to Bowen and used for specific problems thus giving an additional edge in the correction of the presenting problems.
