Kathryn Miller– Podiatry

Kath graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University in 1999 where she worked in a teaching and research role – her work in biomechanics and diabetes has been published and presented internationally. Throughout her career, Kath has worked with a variety of community groups, both in the public health system and privately including with elite athletes as consultant podiatrist to Carlton and North Kangaroos AFL clubs, London Towers Basketball team and England’s National Sports Centre. Kath offers biomechanical assessments, orthotic prescription (arch supports/insoles) and general foot care treatment to people of all ages. Kath has extensive experience in paediatric podiatry (treating children) and injury management. Kath is one of the Directors of In Stride Health Clinic.

Louise Hateley – Physiotherapy (currently on Maternity leave)

Louise qualified 12 years ago and has extensive experience in treating musculo-skeletal conditions and injuries. She has consulted for the National Sports Centre in England, working with the British Diving and London Towers basketball teams. Louise has a "hands on" approach to physiotherapy treatments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and complete management of musculo-skeletal conditions. Louise provides detailed exercise/ rehabilitation programs to promote full recovery and prevent future injury. Louise is one of the Directors of In Stride Health Clinic. She also runs pilates classes and pre/post natal exercise groups.

Katherine Taylor- Physiotherapy

Katherine gained her qualifications in 2002 in England and has wide-ranging experience including rugby union, Formula 1 and British judo squads. She utilises hands on and exercise based approach to assessments and treatment, with interests in dry-needling, Clinical Pilates and hydrotherapy. Katherine provides tailored programs to suit all varieties of conditions and rehabilitation goals. Katherine has a special interest in treating hand injuries.

clare williamson- physiotherapy

Clare qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000, in England, and has worked in the UK and NZ in the musculo-skeletal field. Over this time she has gained a wide ranging experience of managing acute and long term conditions in the young and older populations and from weekend warriors to elite level sports.

Clare utilizes a hands-on and exercise based approach to assessments and tailors treatment and rehabilitation to the individual, to promote a full recovery. Clare has a special interest in aquatic physiotherapy, pilates, and post-operative rehabilitation. Clare has had extensive experience in managing sporting injuries, back pain, neck pain and headaches, and lower limb conditions.

When not working, Clare enjoys travelling, yoga, going to the gym and scuba diving. She understands the importance of maintaining fitness and of recovering from injury, as soon as possible, so that you can continue and return to the activities you enjoy.

stephanie marciniw - physiotherapy

Stephanie gained her Physiotherapy qualifications from La Trobe University, after studying an Exercise Science degree in the USA. She has gained considerable experience in many different areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy including working within the sports (Victorian Football League), rehabilitation, and community health sectors. She has worked with a wide array of clients ranging from primary school children through to the elderly and enjoys empowering clients to maximize and maintain good health.

She couples manual techniques with an exercise regimen to help clients to improve their health not only in the short term, but to maintain the benefits in the long term. Stephanie is certified in the Kinesio Taping Method and has a special interest in treating back and neck injuries, postural related pain, and clinical pilates.

In her spare time I enjoy tennis, running and travel.

Amy Kerin - Physiotherapy

Amy graduated in 2009 from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Amy has a variety of experience within a number of specialty areas including hydrotherapy and women's health.

Amy has developed a keen interest in the treatment and management of acute sporting injuries and thoroughly enjoys working in the area of women's health, including exercise during and post pregnancy. She is currently taking a number of In Stride's pre and post-natal exercise classes which consist of a mixture of cardiovascular fitness, strength training and clinical pilates.

Amy has always had a keen interest in staying fit and healthy; she has been a keen swimmer from a young age and enjoys playing weekly netball with her friends as well as trying new classes at the gym. She values exercise as a key component to a person's health and wellbeing and works hard to ensure that all of her patients can begin, regain, maintain and progress their own fitness levels during and beyond their physiotherapy management.

cameron hare - physiotherapy

Cameron graduated with Honours in 2008 and has extensive experience in private practice physiotherapy and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. Cameron's passion lies in the sporting sector, having worked and toured with Australian and Victorian Swimmers and Soccer players in the past. Cameron is also currently an active member of both the Tullamarine Football Club and Pascoe Vale Central Cricket Club. Having spent a lot of time on the physiotherapy table himself, Cameron utilizes a very manual and hands on approach to physiotherapy, ensuring thorough assessment for accurate diagnosis. Cameron can provide comprehensive exercise programs, and is especially interested in the management and rehabilitation of chronic and overuse injuries.

John Bogle - Myotherapy (Mon, Tues, Thurs, alt Sat)

Studied at the Australian College of Sports Therapy where he gained the base of his knowledge to which he now practices throughout Melbourne. He has experience in treating professional athletes (AFL/NRL football players, triathletes, cyclists and the weekend warrior). John’s treatment is tailored to the requirements of each individual patient and his techniques are carefully selected for what is deemed appropriate to the individuals needs.

Jason Harmes - Podiatry (Wed, alt Sat)

Jason Harmes graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University in 2006. Prior to joining the In Stride team, Jason has worked in community health gaining a vast experience in all aspects of podiatric practice including specialised diabetes clinics and paediatric podiatry services. Throughout his clinical experience, Jason has developed a keen interest and knowledge in sports podiatry, biomechanics and injury prevention.

Jason has been a member of Ascot Vale Leisure Centre for many years, and has a passion for most sports. Having spent a number of years playing VFL football with the Northern Bullants, Jason is currently playing in the local Essendon District Football League. Jason brings his knowledge and experience of competitive and recreational sports to the podiatry clinic at In Stride.

Jason also provides a mobile podiatry service at In Stride, offering podiatry home visits to those people who have difficulty attending clinical appointments.

laura yeomans - remedial massage

Laura studied at the Australian College of Massage and is experienced in Remedial, Sports, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Relaxation massage. Laura has over 5 years' experience in massage and also lectures Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Massage. Laura is extremely experienced in assisting with the recovery of sporting injuries, the prevention and management of chronic back /neck pain and has extensive expertise in relaxation massage including pre/post natal massage. Laura has worked closely with athletes in the Australian Open, Run Melbourne and Melbourne marathon. In her spare time Laura enjoys cycling and attempting to master the game of golf.

Tracey Ramsey - Remedial Massage (Wed, alt Sat)

Tracey graduated from the Australian College of Massage and is experienced in Remedial, Sports, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Relaxation massage. Tracey has a particular interest in trigger point therapy and takes and analytical approach to locating and deactivating trigger points. Throughout her career Tracey has always had an interest in health and wellbeing, spending many years as a fitness instructor, ambulance paramedic and is currently completing a Bachelor in Psychology at Latrobe niversity.

sarina lococo - dietitian

Sarina has worked in the corporate health and fitness industries for many years as a nutritionist, fitness instructor, Pilates instructor and lecturer. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Monash University and post graduate studies in Sports Nutrition, Obesity and Health Promotion at Deakin University. She has recently completed sports dietetics at the Australian Institute of Sport with Sports Dietician's Australia.

Sarina has also co-authored two books, "Fat Loss for Life" and "The Supplement Guide". She is a regular contributor in Australian and overseas health and fitness magazines including "Women's Health & Fitness" and "Natural Health". Sarina's dietetic experience covers a range of areas including weight loss or gain, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, paediatric nutrition (from school age to adolescents), food allergies and intolerances, eating disorders and sports nutrition.

In her spare time Sarina enjoys keeping herself fit, enjoys travelling and attending AFL football games.
