Meredith is a highly qualified and motivated musician, vocalist, Registered Music Therapist and psychotherapist with a breadth of experience. As well as her private work, Meredith has experience working in early childhood, community, mental health, gender equity, and the disability sector.
She works with a holistic approach to address the needs of the clients and special interests include LGBTQI+ issues, relationships, spirituality, psychedelic integration and transpersonal work. Meredith has also delivered presentations at professional conferences including Entheogenesis Australis (2017 & 2019), and the American Music and Imagery Conference (2019).
Meredith has experience working with people of all ages and is available for individual consultation and workshops.
What is GIM?
Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a psychodynamic and multimodal therapy that incorporates music listening in a deeply relaxed state to stimulate imagery, memories and feelings to help a person understand their issues from a different perspective. Specially programmed classical music is used stimulate the imagery experience.
This therapy offers people the opportunity to integrate mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of themselves. GIM is used with individual clients and also in group settings to address a range of psychological and self-development issues.

Standard rate: $110
GIM is practiced in a series of sessions. A minimum of six sessions is advocated to enable the client to use this process effectively.
