Mind-Full of Food Nutrition Counselling
Utilising her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University, Rhea applies the principles of Health At Every Size® (HAES®) and the Non-Diet Approach to assist her clients to overcome unhelpful food habits and embrace life-long wellness. She works with individuals and groups to develop and increase their awareness of internal eating cues, along with promoting self-care and nurturing through the use of food. Walking alongside her clients throughout their journey of developing a positive relationship with food and self.
Rhea holds a strong interest in mind-body health and as such, primarily treats individuals with food and nutrition concerns including: emotional eating, binge eating, body weight/shape/size pre-occupation, along with restrictive dieting tendencies. The non-diet philosophy is one that is weight neutral, assisting an individual to engage in health behaviours regardless of their body weight/shape or size and shifts the focus to wellbeing rather than weight.
Rhea works as part of the team at Adelaide Health Care under her business name Mind-Full of Food Nutrition Counselling.
Adelaide Health Care
Adelaide Health Care opened in 1999 as an independent association of five general practitioners. Over the years we have steadily grown and we now have fifteen General Practitioners working at the practice. We have three Primary Health Care Nurses who are essential to our team approach. We have a number of GPs who work in special interest areas. Our aim is to provide high quality health service to people who live, work or study in the city or nearby suburbs. In addition to the more traditional medical care of illness, we promote better health by focusing on illness prevention and improving well-being, both physically and emotionally. We aim to support patients to learn about their health and healthy living.
