STOP SMOKING

Does hypnosis really work?

In 1992 The University of Iowa conducted a study, researching the ways in which people stop smoking. After 600 tests were completed, it was found that hypnosis was one of the most successful ways to give up smoking.

How many stop smoking sessions will I need?

The fact that you are here is a good indication that you have had enough of smoking and would like to be smoke free. With this underlying want and this proven successful hypnotic method you should experience little to no cravings Feedback has indicated an approx. 9 out of 10 people will be a non smoker after the 1st session . If your not then you have a full month free hypnosis to give you the best possible chance to be successful .

Part of me wants to smoke!

Stop smoking using hypnosis is a safe and effective way to break an unhealthy, expensive habit. You will experience renewed energy and a healthier quality of life.

Poker machines / Gambling
Many of my clients addicted to poker machines have walked away from this awful pattern of behavior within one or two sessions

When you have had enough of Gambling and ready to change then it's a must to have a session with Mark. Considering the amount of money consistently lost by gamblers it is truly incredible how this terrible pattern of behavior can be altered within a session Whether it's, poker machines, horses, cards, etc. If you want to change, it will happen. Your consultation is fully confidential, and you can really expect changes happening immediately after the 1 st session . FEEL THE DIFFERENCE

NEGATIVITY / STRESS & EMOTIONS
Are you a positive or negative thinker ?

"A man is but the product of his thoughts.
What he thinks, he becomes."

"Positive thinking will let you do everything better
than negative thinking will."

These are two powerful quotes. Combined, they tell us that if we think positively, we're likely to enjoy positive results. Negative thinking, on the other hand, can lead to outcomes we don't want.

Positive and negative thoughts can become self-fulfilling prophecies: What we expect can often come true.

If you start off thinking you will mess up a task, the chances are that you will: You may not try hard enough to succeed, you won't attract support from other people, and you may not perceive any results as good enough.

When it comes down to it, positive, optimistic people are happier and healthier, and enjoy more success than those who think negatively.

There are reasons to why we develop feelings and thoughts and I have a real short cut in altering these patterns so you do feel a real difference from the moment you walk out from a session with me . Of coarse some conscious help continues to empower a continuing positive out come . If you think about it ,can you really get a shift like this just working on a conscious level with psychotherapy in 1 session . Most likely not . The combination of using the conscious and subconscious minds along with hypnosis is like psychotherapy on steroids . Remember your sub conscious mind is the hard drive of your whole existence so why waste time not using one of the most powerful tools you possess. 1 session you will feel the difference and from their you life can begin to change into the direction you want it to go. Just knowing this can happening can be empowering and acting on this thought can be life changing.

What's involved with each sesssion
The 1 st session of hypnosis involves the client history -- this will take any where between 20 mins -- 1 hour . In this time information is collected by me on a conscious level . There are certain things I am looking for which helps design what style of hypnotherapy that shall be used later in the session.

Often information comes out all over the place, with me stopping any irrelevant talk that's not really needed . I like to keep this time light and with a sense of humor involved . I certainly don't even try to work things out on a conscious level, because if this could be done and bring upon real change you wouldn't need hypnotherapy.

Once I have gathered enough information then the real therapy begins . You will be in a chair and guided into a deep level of hypnosis . In this altered state and with the right techniques real changes can and will be achieved . Results are usually immediate and a feeling of euphoria is often felt, and yet at the same time tears realised as the shift of emotion happens.

Hypnotherapy Benefits
Basically, hypnosis is a communication method that allows a person to enter an altered state of consciousness and is a state of altered awareness promoting enhanced concentration and allowing a deepened relaxation to be experienced at same time. During the hypnotic induction, awareness is gradually directed from the outer world to the inner world, and it becomes considerably easier to focus on significant aspects of the inner world in a relaxed, mindful manner. Suggestions of the therapist are typically designed to support the resulting inner search processes, encouraging the patient to stay focused on what is important. Thus, comprehensive learning processes are facilitated going beyond the conscious level and involving emotional and physiological learning. Stress reduction occurring incidentally during hypnotic trances supports emotional and physiological readjustments.

The utilisation of an altered state of consciousness for therapeutic indications has a long, solid history. However, to date hypnosis is still an ambiguous concept in the eye of many people. Typically, there is a mixture of high hopes in terms of healing powers involved, and fear of suffering a loss of control when hypnotised. In professional therapeutic hypnosis, this ambivalence is easily dissolved by the experience that conscious control is an option at all times. It turns out that it is simply not necessary to make use of it, since it is much more pleasant and interesting to follow the leads of the unconscious control augmenting the conscious control which previously failed to solve the problem at hand.

Today, hypnosis is used professionally in medical and dental applications to reduce stress and anxiety during medical/dental procedures for pain control, for control of physiological reactions like bleeding, gagging or nausea and many others and to support the healing and recovery setting in following those procedures.

In psychotherapy, hypnosis is either used as an adjunct supporting the effectiveness of a given psychotherapeutic method , or hypnosis is used within hypnosis-psychotherapy, designed as a comprehensive method integrating psychodynamic, behavioural and systemic approaches. Typical fields of application are anxiety and panic disorders, trauma-related disorders, stress and burnout, psychosomatic disorders, depressive disorders, eating and sleeping disorders and habit control applications like smoking cessation or weight control - among many others. Scientific therapy studies looking into the effectiveness of hypnosis keep delivering results.

Engaging in a therapeutic relationship requires a lot of trust. This is especially true, if hypnosis is involved. Therefore, it is crucial for the client to be able to ascertain the professional background of the hypnotherapist they intend to consult In the hand of a professionally trained therapist, hypnosis is a safe and effective way to access trance states promoting healing and improving on experiential, behavioral, emotional and physiological levels.
