NATUROPATHY
A Naturopath uses herbal medicines, nutrition, supplements and dietary changes to restore the body’s innate healing potential. This approach ensures that the source of any health challenges are located and understood, so that treatment not only alleviates symptoms (which are merely signals alerting of a health problem) but ensures that the problem itself is dispelled. The Naturopath can be perceived as a health coach, where the consultations are as much about re-education as healing.
Ayurveda is hailed as the ‘mother of all healing sciences’ and is the building block of all other holistic therapies. Born from Ancient Indian wisdom 5,000yrs old, Ayurveda focuses on inspiring individuals to heal rapidly and easily with the aid of herbal medicines, diet and body therapies, spiritual psychology and lifestyle advice. The principles contained in the Fertility Program were analysed in a UK study by the British Association for the Promotion of Health Care of 367 couples, 59% with prior fertility problems. Those on the program showed that 81% of "infertile" couples conceived, with no miscarriages, perinatal deaths, malformations, or newborn admissions to intensive care. This group followed a regime similar to that proposed here and included diet and lifestyle modification with nutrient and herb supplements.
This is a dramatic decrease on the rate in the general population of 20% miscarriages and 2% malformations.
