Hi, I'm Georgie -
A degree-qualified naturopath who is passionate about helping kids, teens, and their families to find a healthy life that they LOVE!
I am fiercely passionate about providing personalised health care for children, adolescents, and adults.
It is my strong belief that there is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ approach to health, but rather I have seen and experienced that the most meaningful changes occur when treatment is tailor-made for each unique body.
A love for science and biochemistry, and for helping others, lead me down the path of becoming a naturopath and I never cease to be amazed by the efficacy of well-utilised naturopathic medicine at healing disease and restoring vitality and wellbeing.
You can read more about me here.
I pride myself on offering the best in contemporary naturopathic practice, founding my work on an evidence-based model. This means that I combine the most recent scientific evidence with what is known to be best practice in naturopathic medicine, all the while considering each individual's personal health goals.
Underpinning my practice are these core principles:
I primarily work with children and adolescents at Melbourne Child Development in Box Hill South.
However, in my clinic, I welcome anyone of any age and I often work with other members of the family, including older siblings and parents.
It is a great privilege to be able to work so closely with all members of the family to improve everybody's health and wellbeing.
In my work, I always aim to improve quality of life and reduce discomfort as soon as possible, all the while working on the underlying cause and drivers of illness or disease.
Some of the common goals I develop with parents and children include:
One of the great aspects of children's health is the diversity in the children and teens that I get to work with. This allows me to see a variety of different health concerns and work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
My special interest areas include:
