Banana and Mango Superfood Smoothie Recipe

Begin your day with a flavour bursting smoothie.  This delicious smoothie can be great as a breakfast but also can be an afternoon snack.  Mangoes and Bananas are full of important nutrients to keep you healthy and strong!

Ingredients

Serves for 1 person

  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 1 large banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Dairy free option

  • 1 handful of almonds
  • 1 cup water
  • pinch seasalt

Instructions

  1. Blend altogether until smooth
  2. Add the almond milk or dairy milk (whichever you choose) to your blender.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients in order.  Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
