Hydration Juice Recipe

Have you ever stopped to think: do you drink enough water in your day? Funnily enough some people "forget" to drink it, we just get busy with our day to day tasks. You might want to rethink this if you feel tired throughout the day.

Why is dehydration something to avoid? Our body is composed of nearly 70% water and it is found in every one of our 100 trillion cells. Water actually regulates your body temperature, lubricates your joints and aids in the digestion process.

If you would prefer a healthy alternative way to hydrate your body, watermelon is surprisingly good for you - recent research is showing that eating this sweet tasting melon, and particularly drinking it as fresh juice, can have some significant health benefits. Watermelon has been used for ages in folk medicine, and now current research shows it can also protect the liver, heal muscles and provide other health benefits.

Watermelon also contains a large amount of water, making it an ideal fruit for juicing. Drinking watermelon juice provides you with fluid, vitamins and electrolytes, which help stave off dehydration and prevent harmful fluid imbalances.

This recipe is a great re hydration juice for those hot summer days.
