Health Benefits of 5 Common Herbal Teas

Many herbal teas, depending on the kind, can help with everything from easing the symptoms of cold and flu to aiding digestion and relieving the symptoms of nausea.

It is very important that when choosing a herbal tea for particular symptoms, you choose the right one. Fruit teas are blended purely for their flavour and often synthetic ingredients are used. Herbal teas, on the other hand are developed for their medicinal qualities. If drunk three to four times per day, they can make effective remedies.

It is important to check the ingredients; if the ingredient label mentions real herbs then that will more likely mean that the tea is of good quality. It is important to avoid any teas that mention artificial flavourings. Organic teas tend to have the best quality herbal tea blend.
