In this video, Mel catches up with Asaf from Zakay Glass Gallery to learn about his creations based on sacred geometry that produce different energies in your home.

Natural Therapy Pages: I'm Mel from NTPagesTV, and I'm here with Asaf from Zakay Glass Gallery. How are you?
Asaf Zakay: I'm good, very good. Thank you. How are you?
NTP: I'm really well, and I have to say how much I love your products.
AZ: Thank you so much.
NTP: They're so beautiful.
AZ: They say that they are reflections of us, so maybe that's why you love it.
NTP: Oh, maybe. I'm always drawn to your stand. I've seen you at a couple of different expos. So, tell me about your creations.
AZ: I came to all that subject through an art. Like I started building shapes of sacred geometry; I knew one of them is 3D star of David. And I came from Israel, and that's how I started. I had no any idea about all the subject of sacred geometry and flower of life. And I only came with that shape that I always loved to build from any type of material. And I came to live in Australia six years ago in Byron Bay, and been introduced to the subject by people that lived there before and gave me more and more information about that shape that I'm building. And now, we're running Zakay Glass Gallery; it's all based on sacred geometry.
So, all our sculptures, there is books and information from all around the world coming from da Vinci and Fibonacci. All the shapes have the same proportion that everything else in nature, including our own body, divided to its colon number 1.618. So, that's the sacred geometry.
NTP: So, all the different shapes actually all have different meanings?
AZ: Yeah. Like books give, there is many spiritual books about them and many books that will more speak about the math and the proportion of the shapes. So yeah, they all have different spiritual information about each piece.
NTP: So, if you have them in your home, you know you'd want them for different reasons and different energies and things.
AZ: Yeah. We had so many comments from clients, stories that you just pretty much hear in movies. Many, many amazing stories.
NTP: About things that have happened or changed in their life?
AZ: Yeah.
NTP: Yeah, wow! So, tell me what materials you use for them.
AZ: We're using glass, mostly we use bevelled glass and dicoy glass, and we're using traditional stained glass techniques. So, it's all based on copper foiling the glass with copper tape and then soldering everything from inside and outside.
NTP: Okay, so the actual borders, what are they?
AZ: It's all soldering, all around.
NTP: And would that last? It's better not to have them out in the elements, obviously.
AZ: No, we use two different types of products. When we finish, we use the liquid form that's called Oxystop, and it's like a sealer. It will seal inside the solder. And a couple of hours later, we put finishing compound for stained glass. Normally, we leave it overnight, then we clean it the day after. So, they should last forever.
NTP: Okay, fantastic. Obviously, we can come to your gallery in Byron Bay. That would be beautiful.
AZ: Yeah, there's a nice showroom there and the studio is in the back, so people can see how it's all happening.
NTP: So, you're busy working away, yes?
AZ: All the time.
