Who is Skye Flowstreym?

Skye Flowstreym uses hypnotherapy to help people who want to quit their unhealthy habits, move past their fears and traumas, lose weight, improve their relationships and achieve a better quality of life. He has, for more than 14 years now, been running his private practice, Northern Beaches Hypnosis Clinic, in Narrabeen and Manly, NSW, where people step out feeling more confident and motivated to live healthier lives.

Skye is a well-rounded mind-body healer, holding a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a master’s degree in NLP as well as a diploma-level qualification in psychology and a certificate in yoga and meditation teaching.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves relaxation and hypnosis techniques for the facilitation of healing at the subconscious level. During a therapy session, the hypnotherapist brings their client into a hypnotic state to increase their focus and allow their subconscious mind to receive positive suggestions that aim to change their self-limiting, not to mention harmful, thoughts and behaviour.   

A hypnotherapist may employ one or more techniques to get to the root of the client’s problem and aid them in shifting their thought and behaviour patterns. This process has been proven effective in addressing a range of physical and mental health conditions, including:

Hypnotherapy is about the subconscious level of the mind and utilising the voice and imagery and being guided to make changes at that level.
